Both individuals responsible for assisting new residents are U-turn relocators themselves, now residing in Date City, Hokkaido.
I was born in Muroran, spent my early childhood in New York, and grew up in Date City until I graduated high school. After university, I began my career at a major player in Japan’s heavy industry. I also attended fashion school and have worked in the tourism industry. I enjoy drawing from these diverse experiences and always look forward to embracing new challenges, particularly in and around Date City and the Nishi-Iburi area.
As someone new to the area, I’m excited to immerse myself in life here with a fresh perspective. I was born in Date City but spent 15 years in Tokyo and the Kanto region pursuing my university studies, a master’s degree, and working at a trading company. In 2015, I made the move back to Date City, which is often referred to as a ‘U-turn relocation’ in Japan.
